Day 42 – Bing Goes Local – From the Frost Tower

Bing is desperate to stay competitive with Google. Their latest update mirrors Google’s recent decision to integrate local search results when they predict someone might be looking for a local business.

Additionally, Bing has finally updated their algorithm to alter search results based on a user’s past search history. This is something Google has been doing for years.

While these updates should make Bing’s search results more relevant, it’s not exactly an original concept.
