Stathis Edel
President & General Manager

Stathis founded FindMyCompany.com in 2006 after 15 years of success in IT management and technology deployment. Some of his earliest experience came working on an 80286 computer and from there he moved into various project management positions, overseeing software integration programs, creating entire IT departments, and developing original website technologies for Texas State departments, PcOrder.com, Deloitte & Touche Consulting, and Dell-Seton Networks. Stathis went on to work at AMD for seven years as a Project Manager/Technical Lead and at Silicon Services Consortium, helping to develop the IT department and all web-application technologies.

With his broad range of experience and strong desire to stay involved in day-to-day management, Stathis chooses to lead the FMC management team by example. The company he founded has always been built on the understanding that they would provide professional web services at an affordable rate. It’s a complete understanding by every FMC team member, of not only Search Engine Marketing strategies, but of website conversion, and current web user habits, that ensures long-lasting success for FindMyCompany.com and their growing roster of satisfied customers.

Most recently, Stathis has begun leading a Internet Marketing seminar series hosted by FindMyCompany and other marketing firms in the area. The goal of these events is to help local business owners and curious citizens understand how search engine marketing really works and how it can increase the profitability of a website.

Ellen Cavanaugh
Corporate Account Executive

Ellen is an award-winning sales executive with 23 years experience building sales teams and turning around underperforming media companies. She is an expert at nurturing radio, TV and digital-media startups as general manager, troubleshooter, marketing strategist. Her career includes creating a successful sales/ management training curriculum for company that owned over 500 radio stations.

Ellen’s latest experience was with Sun City Communications/Latino Vibe Media where she developed a prototype web portal for American bilingual/bicultural Latinos. As Chief Operating Officer, she developed the vision, created the business plan, recruited and coached the product development team, and supervised product research to raise capital. As VP of Sales and Marketing, she also supervised the build out of KVIB-FM, a new Latino Vibe station in Phoenix, Arizona and co-captained the build from scratch to set up operational systems for sales, marketing, traffic and promotions. After recruiting, training and motivating the sales and marketing staff, the station improved its financial position to cash flow positive during the first full operating year. Ellen also worked for CBS Radio in Houston as General Account Executive of KILT-FM. She helped turn around a station following steady decline in revenue market share to achieve corporate goals and revenue targets within 12 months.

Director of Operations

Heidi Buckner joins FindMyCompany.com with experience from careers in customer service, accounting and the financial industry. A Massachusetts native, Heidi came to Austin in 2007 with a strong desire to make an impact in the ever-growing tech community as well as sample the city’s flourishing food and music scene. Having worked in finance at the peak of America’s economic downturn, she gained a unique perspective of how small and large businesses are affected by the ebb and flow of the nation’s economy. She uses this experience daily to prepare reports, advise on accounts and most importantly, provide informed recommendations to FindMyCompany’s clients.

Keeping in the area of service to our clients, Heidi has been a customer advisor and advocate at such companies as Commerce Bank, Wells Fargo Bank & Trust and the United States Postal Service. Her varied experience makes her a great addition to the FindMyCompany team, where her numerical skills and financial strategies keep our clients outperforming expectations.
