  Good website content is written for two audiences: Real People and Search Engines. Most websites are lucky if their text appeals to one of these audiences, much less both.

  Frankly, it’s not too difficult to write text for Google—just don’t overdo it with the keywords—but getting real people to read and absorb your content is the tricky part. Sadly, getting people to read anything over 140 characters is difficult these days. Just ask our bloggers.

  Anyway, here’s the real kicker—Google and other search engines reward sites with content that appeals to real people—sites with “social appeal.”
